These Terms of Service, together with all relevant terms incorporated by reference, (the “Terms”) set out your rights and responsibilities when you use, access and otherwise interact with the services available on the Site from time to time, including your use of our Tuune questionnaire which is a digital health assessment tool that enables both a better understanding of your hormones and precision contraceptive recommendations. The Tuune questionnaire is an integrated health assessment consisting of questions relating to your cycle, wellbeing priorities, medical history and contraceptive history.To obtain a holistic evaluation of your hormones and health, the Tuune questionnaire will ask you to digitally provide self-reported responses to the questions mentioned above. To provide precision contraceptive recommendations, our proprietary algorithm will match you to the most suitable contraceptive options based on the answers you have provided, when you purchase contraception via the Site and when you otherwise interact with our Site (“Services").All users of the Site (whether unregistered guests or registered Tuune account holders) (“you”, “your”) are bound by the relevant provisions of these Terms. By using our Site and any of the Services you confirm that you agree and accept to be bound by these Terms. Please read this document carefully as it contains important information about your rights and responsibilities when you use our Services. If for any reason you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our Site or Services.
Other applicable terms
We aim to offer transparency around our use of your personal information. We (and our partners) will need to process your personal data (including sensitive (special category) data) in order to provide you with our Services – for example, data concerning your health and medical history. We explain how we do this and how we take steps to comply with applicable data protection laws in our Privacy Policy.We may, in the future, offer home DNA and hormone testing kits for sale – we will update these Terms and our Privacy Policy to reflect any such new Services before offering them.The contract for any contraception sold to you is between you and our partner Pharmacy. Tuune acts as a sales agent, and additional Pharmacy terms may apply to any orders you place.We may invite you to participate in research. If so, we’ll ask you to complete a Research Consent Form.

If you're unsure, you must reach out to us at info@tuune.com or consult your regular healthcare provider.Tuune is not a replacement for your regular healthcare service. Always inform your provider about any contraception supplied via Tuune.Our precision health recommendations rely on the truthfulness and accuracy of your responses to the Tuune health assessment. You must disclose all relevant information honestly.We help you monitor your contraceptive experience through follow-up Tuune health assessments. If you choose not to participate, we may not be able to support you with side effect management.
Eligibility to use our Services
Guests can browse the Site, but full access requires account registration. When registering, you must provide accurate, up-to-date information.Security details (e.g. password) must be kept confidential.Our Services are designed for UK residents aged 18–50 considering hormonal contraception.By using our Services, you confirm you’re capable of making health decisions and fluent in English.
Tuune assessment
The Tuune assessment is a personalised female healthcare platform registered as a medical device with the MHRA. It delivers education and precision contraceptive recommendations based on whole-health analysis.
How does it work?
The Tuune health assessment gathers physical and mental health data to assign you to one of three groups:Eligible for CHC or POP,
Eligible for POP only,
Requires specialist review before a prescription can be made.
You must provide accurate information to the Tuune health assessment.Based on your responses, the system may recommend contraception or refer you to a clinician. If clinically approved, your report can be shared with our Pharmacy or your own healthcare provider.All consultation records from the Tuune health assessment are securely retained.
Our partners
Tuune itself does not provide medical advice or prescriptions. Instead, we facilitate access to licensed clinicians and pharmacies. All prescriptions and medical decisions are handled by those partners.The contract for Services remains with Tuune, but all clinical responsibilities lie with the prescribers and Pharmacy.
Your orders and feesTuune health assessment consultation
Signing up for the Tuune health assessment constitutes an offer to purchase the associated Services. We'll confirm acceptance before a contract is formed.Applicable fees will be disclosed in advance and must be paid before consultation begins.
Free trials
Tuune may offer free access to the health assessment for a limited time. We reserve the right to suspend or withdraw this at any time.
Prescription contraception
When you place an order, you offer to buy contraception. This is reviewed by our partner Pharmacy, who may approve or reject your order. Payment must be made in advance via Stripe.If approved, your order will be confirmed. If rejected, we’ll issue a refund.Once confirmed, the contract is with the Pharmacy, who will dispense and deliver the product.All prescription communications are handled by Tuune unless you're referred directly to the Pharmacy. Pricing, payment and refunds
Prices are in GBP and include VAT. We’ll correct any pricing errors by refunding overpayments.You confirm you’re authorised to use your chosen payment method. Refunds (if applicable) are issued via the original payment method within five working days.
Your rights to make changes
If you wish to make changes to your order, contact us. If the change is possible, we’ll notify you of any resulting adjustments (e.g. in price or timing) and confirm whether you wish to proceed.
Delivery
Our Pharmacy dispenses contraception typically within three working days of prescription approval. Currently, delivery is available within the UK only.We will notify you of estimated delivery dates. You agree that no signature is required and that it's safe for prescription products to be delivered through your letterbox. You confirm no children or pets will have access upon delivery.Please read all accompanying product information (e.g., dispensing label, patient leaflet). Using a product against guidance is at your own risk.Stop using the product and seek immediate medical advice if you experience significant side effects.
Late Delivery
If delivery is delayed, we will notify you and work with the Pharmacy to resolve the issue. Neither Tuune nor the Pharmacy is liable for delays beyond our control.
Failed Delivery
If the delivery cannot be completed and the parcel cannot be posted, the courier may leave a note or deliver to a neighbour. If not collected or redelivered, we may cancel your order. If that happens, we may issue a refund minus any delivery charges.
Ownership
The product is your responsibility upon delivery and becomes your property once full payment is received.
Suspending the contract
If the Pharmacy needs to suspend contraception supply, we’ll inform you. You may cancel and receive a refund for any advance payment.
Important acknowledgements
You acknowledge that:Tuune is not liable for any damage caused by inaccurate or incomplete information you submit via the Tuune health assessment.
You are responsible for informing your healthcare provider of any prescriptions or advice received through our Services.
You may not use someone else's Tuune health assessment or account, or let anyone use yours.
You must not use contraception if previously advised against it by a clinician or if contraindicated via our Services.
You are responsible for:Verifying your prescription is correct before use,
Storing contraception safely,
Avoiding expired medication,
Reading all product literature.
Content Standards and Acceptable Use
Any content you upload (including in the Tuune health assessment) must be:Lawful, accurate, and not misleading,
Free from hate speech or discrimination,
Respectful of third-party rights (IP, confidentiality, etc.).
You must not:Use the Site or Tuune health assessment for illegal or harmful activity,
Transmit malware or malicious code,
Reverse-engineer or tamper with the Site,
Replicate or commercialise any part of our Services without permission.
Our Site
We may update content or Services at any time. Access is provided “as is,” without guarantees of error-free or uninterrupted service.You are responsible for ensuring all users accessing our Site via your internet connection comply with these Terms.
Intellectual property
All IP rights in the Site, Services, Tuune health assessment, and content belong to Tuune or its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-transferable licence to use our Services during active use only.You must not copy, modify, or distribute our content without written consent.
Copyright and Trademarks
All content and marks used on the Site are owned by Tuune or its partners. You may not use them without permission.
Links to third-party sites
Our Site may link to external sites (e.g. Stripe, partner pharmacies). We’re not responsible for third-party content or services, and use of those sites is subject to their terms and privacy policies.
Our liability
Tuune facilitates access to services; clinical responsibility lies with the prescribing Pharmacy. We are not liable for:Inaccurate data you provide,
Emotional distress,
Financial or reputational loss,
Indirect or consequential damages.
This does not limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or fraud.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site confirms your acceptance of the latest version.
Termination of your Tuune account
We may terminate your account at our discretion, especially in cases of fraud, regulation, or emergencies. You may also terminate your account by contacting us.You are responsible for any charges incurred prior to account closure.
Jurisdiction and applicable law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts. We encourage alternative dispute resolution where possible.
Other important terms
